Super 8 Moods

Freethinker a.k.a Christian Stieler is behind this new electronic music based side project. After his successful release on the well known nufunk label Timewarp music under Freethinker Funk Essence project name, he is back with a new ep specially made for Kraak records all under the concept ep name "Super 8 Moods".

Four tracks in the same mood direction compile smoothly this ep. Electronic sounds blended with a dub feeling and spaced out sounds that give a sense of a nice trippy journey through Freethinker's mood concept of nostalgic 90's magic and gold sounds of ninja tune and mo wax! Poets Of The World open the ep with dub and groovy break beats cooked with lounge vibes building up slowly the very first atmospheric birth of Super 8 Mood!

The trip continues with Sunrise in Detroit. A deep dub and tech orientated tune with 90's feeling. Simple chords and string sounds combined with a great minimal atmosphere. Super 8 Dub takes us to more downtempo paths with extra power and dub feelings. The baseline reminds us the old good times of 90's, combined with percussive sounds, smooth lead synths and sweet melodies.

Beautiful Thoughts is a great downtempo closing track. It combines nice and groovy downtempo beats and atmospheres with driving guitar and dub echoes, plus the retro synths sounds constructs a perfect soundtrack for your chill out area!
